Child Support Attorney

This book discusses the Office of Child Support Enforcement. The Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) assists states in performing the following functions: locating parents, obtaining child support orders, and finding money to pay child support.

The Office of Child Support Enforcement also facilitates communication and data sharing among various state and federal agencies, through a series of databases and research tools.

A significant portion of this book is devoted to the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS), which is a series of databases that share child support related information among state and federal agencies.
